It's barely ever winter cold in New Orleans this year so I couldn't come up with much for this post. The most trendiest thing you may see down here for women in the leggings and jeggings. In all patterns and styles...everybody is wearing them!

Although I'm showing name brand leggings, you CAN always find similar [affordable] ones in almost any store.

Wet n' Wild megalast [review]

I tweeted about doing this review so here go's....
If you know about Wet n' Wild polishes then you KNOW they don't last 24 hours. I bought this new and "improved" polish from Wet n' Wild that promises a 5 day long wear.

No surprise here but I am impressed with the fact that this polish lasted between 3-4 days as opposed to the usual 1 day. So overall, it's not too bad for $1.99 polish. :)

If you look closely in the picture of day 1 you can see that I also polished my toes with the same polish and of course as always they are STILL in tip-top shape. (I'm not a fan of taking pics of my toes..sorry...lol)

My grandmother bought me these shoes about a week ago. They are a dark teal color with gold stones on them. I wore the on the 1st day of class && they went perfectly with my top. Might actually do a post on that. :) Anyways, aren't they cute??

Fall season is coming soon and so far I have 3 main favorite fashion trends.

Military-This trend is coming up quickly in different forms. It gives us the opportunity to follow the trends and use our own unique personal style. I didn't think to add it in this pic BUUUUT men can rock this style too!

Rompers/Jumpsuits- I love these things!! If you don't own one, please do so. Tip: solid colored or floral (yes floral!) rompers can look totally different when accessorized differently giving you more bang for your buck!

Top Handle Bags - Big and fun bags like these are stylish for carrying school books or work material.

Well my laptop charger had a short in it for a while && I didn't replace it because I just figured it will last a longtime if I be careful or whatever...bad idea. My laptop is dead && I have no way to charge it until I get back to New Orleans on Saturday (I'm in Memphis right now) I know I move around fast....been here since Friday. So I bought a replacement charger online. I HATE not having my own computer to use. =(

Anyways, just follow me on TWiTTER cause I'll be tweeting about every new post from now on. Also, at the bottom of this blog I have a section where you can see the upcoming posts. They may not come in that order but their coming. ;-)

To be honest, the purpose of this post is the shoes but idk the name of them and who they are by...I tried but they are still hot. As a little person myself, I think that the dress should've been a bit more fitted but she is working it!

Tichina Arnold is MY FAVORITE actress. I saw her in this dress on t.v and I loved it...I think it looks great on her but I didn't see the shoes until I found the pics online...hmm. -_- They don't quite go with the dress. But at least her hair makes up for it. She's a gorgeous woman either way.

Trends With An Expiration Date

Lately I've been seeing fashion-related articles in the newspaper && today there was an article about summer trends that may fade away as the fall season comes in.

They say that the romper is a trend that will fade but I disagree. There are so many styles of rompers and they are great for any occasion. The jumpsuit will be more useful as the weather cools up in the fall but it's still a romper style. The romper is here to stay if you ask me!!

I never really considered short-shorts as a trend because it's just something that goes along with (just about) everything but the article advises that the style will go away when summer is out. That makes sense because come winter=> no one wears shorts.

The too-dark bottled tan is another trend that usually goes away with the summer but it returns in the following year.

The edgy exposed zipper trend won't be the hottest look this fall, which, isn't a surprise since it's been awhile that I have seen a person rocking the look. I personally think you just have to KNOW how to work the exposed zipper.

The '80s style white sunglasses is another trend we can soon say bye-bye to. A little known fact: if you have a dark complexion, white sunglasses make you look a shade darker and if your pale they make you look paler. Interesting...

Just thought I should share this info. Everything looks more attractive when it's on sale so hopefully this helps you think twice before you waste your money on something that's quickly going out of style. EVEN IF IT'S ON SALE.

Who Wore It Best?

Just the other day I posted pics of Rihanna rocking this one-piece polka dot jumpsuit from Dolce & Gabbana and last night Trina wore it too at a gay pride event in Detroit! With the black pumps and all!! This should be a big no-no within the famous people...especially since the jumpsuit is so eye-catching. I said it before and I'll say it again...only Rihanna can pull off an outfit like this. Trina doesn't look bad and she probably didn't know Rihanna wore it buuut this fit is made for a certain type of fashionista and it's not Trina's cup of tea. Maybe it's just me.

New Makeup Brushes [E.L.F.)

I've been hearing a lot of good things about E.L.F.'s brushes and I thought "for $1.00 each...they CAN'T be THAT good!" I ordered a few and received them in the mail yesterday. I haven't used them yet but from the way they feel, it's a great quality! I can't wait to use them. =)

I also use Mary Kay brushes, which, are really good quality too!

New York & Company Purse

I found this cream colored bag at New York & Company for sale. The original price was $42.95 but I got it on sale for $14.99!! They had different styles and colors but I realized that this was one color that didn't own a purse in.

It has metallic gold details with a brown braided (belt type thingy) embellished with gold and silver plastic beads on the ends of each side.
